Natasha’s favourite natural skincare products

Cleansers

LIVING LIBATIONS Best Skin Ever – I adore Living Libations Best Skin Ever oils for oil cleansing, I’ve been using them for over a decade. The most popular is Seabuckthorn Best Skin Ever. It’s not too heavy or too light making it suitable for all skin types. It cleanses as it nourishes and balances the skin. My personal favourite is the Rose Best Skin Ever. It’s soothing, a touch more nourishing than the Seabuckthorn and good for skin prone to redness, sensitivity, dryness or maturing skin. Frankincense Best Skin Ever is my second favourite. It’s a little lighter and more clarifying, making it the best option for oily, combination and acne prone skin. It also works well at evening out skin tone, fading hyperpigmentation, melasma, and acne marks.

MARAAlgae Enzyme Cleansing Oil – This is hands down the best cleanser for sensitive skin. It’s suitable for all skin types, but especially great for dry, maturing, or sensitive skin. It’s a moisturizing oil cleanser that can be rinsed off with water or removed with a wash cloth. It’s gentle, barely has a scent, it doesn’t strip or dry out skin. It feels silky soft, luxurious and nourishing as it cleanses and removes makeup.

LEAHLANI Kalima Coconut Cream Cleansing Powder – This is an AMAZING cleanser. If you have acne marks, hyperpigmentation, dull, or bumpy skin texture, this is a must try. It even helps fade stubborn melasma. It’s such a unique cleanser because it exfoliates and resurfaces the skin, but it’s also extremely soothing and nourishing. It evens out skin tone, reduces redness, cleans out clogged pores and blackheads, and makes your skin silky soft. I like using it as a second cleanse at night (after cleansing with Leahlani Pamplemousse Cleansing Oil or Living Libations Best Skin Ever). I leave it on for a couple of minutes for a deeper cleanse, and rinse off with cool water. It’s gentle enough to use twice a day, and never dries out skin. It’s superb.

INDIE LEE Brightening Cleanser – This gel cleanser is the queen of all gel cleansers. It’s truly mild, yet very effective at cleansing the skin and removing sunscreen and makeup. It’s suitable for all skin types, doesn’t strip or dry out the skin, and doesn’t leave behind any residues. It’s also gentle enough to use around the eyes. If you are looking for a no-fuss easy cleanser, go with this.

TATA HARPER Nourishing Oil Cleanser – This oil cleanser is truly nourishing. Great for gently removing makeup and as a daily cleanser. The formula is moisturizing, and leaves your skin feeling plumped and supple. I recommend this for normal, combination, dry, and mature skin types.

OSKIA Renaissance Cleansing Gel – A luxurious balm to milk cleanser. Made with gentle exfoliating enzymes, it brightens and resurfaces skin as it cleanses. I find it’s especially good for milia-prone skin, acne scars, sun damaged skin, hyperpigmentation, and melasma.

MAHALO The Unveil Cleanser Melt Concentrate – If you love the skin softening benefits of oil cleansing, but prefer no residues from the oil, this cleansing balm is just for you! It’s soft and nourishing and rinses off clean with water. An excellent makeup remover, non-stripping cleanser, and the cacao citrus scent is absolutely divine.

TAMMY FENDER Cleansing Milk – Milk cleansers are great for dry, sensitive, and irritated skin. This one in particular is lightweight and extremely gentle. It has a way of comforting sensitive skin as it cleanses.

Smooth Raw Honey – I’m a big fan of using smooth raw honey as a cleanser, especially for younger skin that is acne-prone (great if your in your 20s or early thirties, or younger). Best to use a local organic smooth honey or a manuka honey.

Facial Scrubs

LIVING LIBATIONS Neroli Glow Polishing Creme Cleanser – This is a beautiful combination of a moisturizing cleansing milk and micro-exfoliant scrub. It polishes, brightens and revitalizes skin. I highly recommend it for dry, dehydrated, dull, tired or maturing skin. It sloughs away buildup and flakes, revealing soft, supple and rejuvenated skin.

LEAHLANI Honey Love Microdermabrasion Exfoliator – This is a hard core exfoliating scrub that delivers outstanding results. It takes soft smooth skin to the next level. I highly recommend it for resurfacing skin, fading acne marks and scars, and smoothing congested skin texture. For best results, leave it on for 5-10 minutes before rinsing, and always stir the jar before using (the exfoliating grains tend to collect at the bottom of the jar). Great for congested, textured, acne prone, oily, combination or normal skin types (if you have sensitive skin, this is too aggressive of a scrub – better to use Leahlani Kalima Cleansing Powder instead).

TATA HARPER Regenerating Cleanser  – Made with cleansing clays and polishing grains, this daily cleanser purifies skin as it exfoliates. Suitable for all skin types, it’s actually quite soft, creamy and gentle, and can be used more regularly than most scrubs to maintain smooth skin.

OSKIA Micro Exfoliating Balm – The combination of a rich cleansing balm and micro exfoliant makes your skin super soft, bright and smooth. I love how fine the exfoliating texture is, polishing away surface buildup thoroughly. A very unique product that moisturizes as it exfoliates. It’s especially great for dry, dehydrated, dull or texture skin, and dry or harsh climates.

Toners

JOSH ROSEBROOK Hydrating Accelerator – Super gentle, super effective. And works with EVERYTHING. This will add hydration to your skin, help products absorb better and give your skin a glow.

LIVING LIBATIONS Rose Glow Complexion Mist – A delicate pure rose water facial mist. It’s gentle, hydrating, and smooths texture and pores. Great for all skin types, including very sensitive skin.

VERDURA NATURALTERNATIVES Lotus Hydrating Mist – A luxurious toning mist that softens and hydrates skin. Made with lotus and hibiscus that are known for their toning, firming and pore refining properties. This formula is extremely balancing for oily and combination skin.

Serums / Treatments

Melasma

The following product combinations work amazing for stubborn melasma. When using any of these combinations, I strongly recommend that the rest of your skincare routine be as plain and minimal as possible, so nothing interferes with the efficacy of the products.

LEAHLANI Siren Brightening Serum mixed with Bless Beauty Balm – Something about combining Leahlani serums with Bless Beauty Balm amplify the results. In this case, Siren Brightening Serum mixed with Bless Beauty Balm brightens skin, evens out skin tone, and fades melasma. If you have stubborn dermal melasma, especially large dark patches, this is worth a try. I recommend mixing a small amount of Bless Beauty Balm with 1/2 – 1 pump Siren Serum and apply to clean skin. Start with once a day (can eventually move up to twice daily). This should be used in place of serum and moisturizer.

LIVING LIBATIONS Frankincense Best Skin Ever (use as an oil cleanser), followed by applying Rose Renewal + Frankincense Firming Fluid – This Living Libations combo soothes and fades melasma, while also clarifying and hydrating skin. I believe the frankincense and rose otto in these two products are the key ingredients targeting the hyperpigmentation and inflammation, resulting in a clear, even skin tone. Both of these products are lightweight, skin smoothing, and suitable for all skin types. Unless you have very oily skin, you’ll probably need a moisturizer on top. I recommend something very plain, and free of essential oils like a few drops of Squalane Oil or Jojoba Oil. During the day you can use a fragrance-free moisturizing sunscreen on top (I recommend Suntegrity 5in1 Sunscreen).

LIVING LIBATIONS Open Sky Sheer Serum, followed by INDIE LEE Daily Vitamin Infusion – This combination fades melasma, evens out skin tone and makes your skin look like glass. It’s sheer gorgeousness and youthening. Living Libations Open Sky Sheer Serum is a hydrating, cooling, anti-inflammatory serum that evens out skin tone, locks in moisture, and makes skin dewy and supple. Indie Lee Daily Vitamin Infusion is an oil-based vitamin C serum infused with skin strengthening ceramides. This serum moisturizes, brightens and helps smooth lines and wrinkles. I recommend layering these two products, starting with Open Sky Sheer Serum after cleansing, and then applying a few drops of Daily Vitamin Infusion. These can probably be used in place of moisturizer, but if needed, use an essential oil-free moisturizer like Indie Lee Daily Skin Nutrition or fragrance-free mineral sunscreen (I recommend Suntegrity 5in1 Face Sunscreen).

Vitamin C & Brightening Products

(for fading sun spots, dark spots, hyperpigmentation)

MARA Sea Vitamin C Serum – A potent yet gentle Vitamin C Serum that brightens skin and fades stubborn hyperpigementaion, darks spots, suns spots, freckles, and acne marks and scars. If you find most vitamin C serums too drying or irritating, I strongly recommend this. It’s ultra lightweight, oil-based serum that softens skin as it delivers a radiant glow.

INDIE LEE Daily Vitamin Infusion – I love how this formula contains both Vitamin C and ceramides, so it works to brighten skin as it also strengthens and smoothes skin. This is great if you are looking for a brightening serum that also targets the signs of aging (especially deep lines and wrinkles).

LIVING LIBATIONS DewDab – This is a pure essential oil blend formulated to fade spots and imperfections. It’s especially great for fading hyperpigmentation, sun spots, age spots, and old acne marks. You would used this as a spot treatment just on your spots, not all over your face. If using a pure essential oil blend is too strong for your skin, the Ozonated DewDab Beauty Balm is made of the same essential oil blend but mixed with anti-inflammatory ozone, which also targets redness and inflammation and supports skin healing.

Acne

LOA SKIN Botanical Beauty Elixir – This is the best moisturizing treatment serum I’ve found for problem skin prone to acne, eczema, rosacea, inflammation or sensitivity. It’s a lightweight oil blend infused with calming botanicals that soothe irritation, balancing sebum production, and promoting a healthy skin barrier. It delivers the perfect amount of moisture without clogging pores, never heavy or greasy.

VERDURA NATURALTERNATIVES Blue Fairy Concentrate – This is a clarifying oil that dissolves sebum that clogs pores and helps shrink pimples fast. This is one of my favourite treatments for cystic and stubborn pimples, and treating clusters of clogged pores and congested skin. It can be used as a spot treatment or an all over facial treatment. It’s also very effective for treating back and body acne.

LEAHLANI Siren Brightening Serum – Vitamin C is an ingredient usually associated with brightening skin, but it also helps speed up healing of pimples and acne. Plus, vitamin C helps fade acne marks and scars. This serum in particular from Leahlani is very compatible with acne prone skin. It’s made with oils that don’t clog pores, it’s lightweight and supports skin repair as it balances skin. This is a great moisturizing serum if you are looking for a product that targets existing pimples and helps fade old marks and scars.

LIVING LIBATIONS Soothsayer Serum – An all-in-one moisturizing serum and facial oil for soothing inflamed or broken out skin, fading acne scars and hyperpigmentation, and eliminating redness and irritation. This jojoba-based serum helps balance oily and combination skin, is lightweight and absorbs beautifully.

Exfoliating Acids

(for smoothing skin texture, bumpy texture, fine lines, rough skin, dullness, acne marks and scars, clogged pores)

INDIE LEE Radiance Renewal Peel – These exfoliating peel pads are hydrating, brightening and resurfacing. Great for smoothing out skin texture and fine lines, fading dark spots, sun spots and hyperpigmentation and giving your skin a hydrated glow. Suitable for all skin types, but especially good for dry, dehydrated or maturing skin. I also use them on my chest for fading sun spots and sun damage.

INDIE LEE Gentle Daily Peel – If you have clogged pores, blackheads, pimples or bumpy skin texture, these peel pads are worth a try. I do find they are strong, but they work! I recommend starting with using them 2 times a week and work up to using every other night. They dissolve sebum that clogs pores, and removes buildup on the surface of your skin that is trapping debris. Use on clean dry skin, and only use at night. If you have acne on your back or shoulders, these are very effective.

DRUNK ELEPHANT T.L.C. Framboos Glycolic Night Serum – A gentle AHA and BHA exfoliating acid serum. Great for smoothing bumpy skin texture and fine lines, fading sun damage and acne marks, and giving your skin a bright youthful glow. I also find it help prevent clogged pores and breakouts.

Redness & Sensitivity

LOA SKIN Botanical Beauty Elixir – This serum is made for problem skin prone to acne, eczema, rosacea, and inflammatory skin issues. If you are looking for something to calm your skin down and get it balanced and healthy again, this is it. This is always the product I reach for when my skin feels irritated, achy, off balance or sensitive. I’ve even been using it to treat a chronic rash I have on my chest and it’s the only product that has ever worked.

LEAHLANI Happy Hour Balancing Serum (formerly called Champagne Serum) – This oil-based serum is a dream. It’s so moisturizing and calming for the skin. Great for red, irritated, dry or sensitive skin. The base is grapeseed oil which also makes it compatible with acne prone skin that needs extra care and nourishment.

LIVING LIBATIONS Rose Glow Serum – This is a soothing and skin softening serum. Lightweight, fast absorbing and really helps to reduce redness, sensitivity and even out blotchy skin tone. For dry skin, I recommend using a few drops of Rose Glow Serum on clean skin, followed by Rose Glow Creme for extra hydration, nourishment and to seal in moisture. Beautiful combo for sensitive, dry, or maturing skin.

Anti-aging

(for plumping, smoothing, and firming)

LIVING LIBATIONS Rose Renewal + Frankincense Firming Fluid – This is one of my top favourite Living Libations products. It’s a hydrating firming lotion that works to plump and smooth your skin. It’s lightweight, soothing, and makes your skin velvety soft. For oily skin types and humid weather it can be used on its own as a lightweight moisturizing serum, and for dry skin types best to layer underneath your favourite moisturizer for a hydration boost.

ANNMARIE SKIN CARE Citrus Stem Cell Serum (formerly called Repair Serum) – This is my favourite stem cell serums. It’s brightening, rejuvenating and makes your skin silky smooth and soft. Great for refining skin texture and diminishing the appearance of pores and fine lines. Use at night and the next morning you’ll wake up to a radiant complexion and skin so soft you can’t stop touching it.

TATA HARPER Rejuvenating Serum – This is a rich anti-aging serum. Great for softening and smoothing out fine lines and wrinkles, and giving maturing skin the extra moisture it needs to maintain elasticity and suppleness of the skin.

LIVING LIBATIONS DewDab – This is a great wrinkle treatment. This essential oil blend is formulated to heal and fade acne scars and hyperpigmentation, but it’s as effective at reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. For best results, dab a small drop of DewDab on wrinkles, or add a drop or two to a facial oil and apply it over your entire face and neck. Only use at night.

Retinol

MARA Algae Retinol Face Oil – Potent, gentle and moisturizing, this retinol oil delivers results without redness, irritation or drying out your skin. If you are looking for an anti-aging product to firm skin, smooth lines and wrinkles, diminish texture and enlarged pores and keep your skin youthful and clear – this is it. It’s the best retinol product I’ve tried. What I like most is it’s a pure retinol, there’s no vitamin c or other strong actives thrown into the mix masking the results or sensitizing skin. You still have to gradually ease into using it (I recommend starting with using it 2 nights a week for one month, then 3 nights a week the second month, and work up to using it every night or every other night). Over time it will make your skin smooth, glowing, plumped, firmer, and fresh looking. If you are going to invest in one product to reduce the signs of aging, I recommend this.

Facial Oils

MARA Universal Face Oil – The name speaks for itself! It truly is a universal oil for all skin types (including sensitive and acne prone). It’s skin softening, hydrating, nourishing, makes skin soft and supple, and works beautifully with everything.

ANNMARIE SKIN CARE Herbal Facial Oil for Normal/Combination Skin – One of my top favourite facial oils. This is truly moisturizing. I use it at night and when I wake up in the morning, my skin is plumped, hydrated and smooth.

INDIE LEE Squalane Facial Oil – Suitable for all skin types, Squalane oil is very lightweight yet nourishing. I find squalane oil to be one of the best oils for sensitive or irritated skin. It’s lightly occlusive which helps to seal in moisture.

Moisturizers

LIVING LIBATIONS Rose Glow Creme – This is a calming and very hydrating moisturizing cream that works beautifully sealing in moisture. A little goes a long way. It’s very soothing and gives skin a radiant dewy finish making it a great choice for sensitive or maturing skin. At night I like to use the Rose Glow Serum under the RoseGlow Creme for a nourishing overnight treatment.

LIVING LIBATIONS Sun Dew Vitamin D Creme – This cream moisturizer is a touch richer then Living Libations Rose Glow Creme making it a great choice for dry skin types that need some extra tender loving care. Hydrating, plumping and skin smoothing, this facial creme pairs well with Living Libations toners and serums. I especially love layering it on top of Open Sky Sheer Serum which adds extra dewy hydration and a cooling calm to the skin.

JOSH ROSEBROOK Vital Balm Cream – I absolutely love this! If you have dry or dehydrated skin, this is a must try. It’s a hybrid between a balm and a cream, so it’s very rich and nourishing, and very protective. This is especially good as an overnight moisturizing treatment and to protect your skin from dehydrating indoor heating or air conditioning. Also, if you use a retinol and need a moisturizing product to help balance and restore your skin, I highly recommend it. Now available, Unscented Vital Balm Cream which is just as good but without essential oils or scent making it best choice for sensitive skin.

TATA HARPER Clarifying Moisturizer – Great lightweight moisturizer for oily and blemish-prone skin. This moisturizer softens and moisturizes skin, plus reduces redness and irritation. Plus, it has a matte finish. I like this as a day moisturizer, and also strongly recommend it for summer months, and hot/humid climates.

TATA HARPER Repairative Moisturizer – Lightweight fluid moisturizer that is very hydrating and moisturizing making skin soft and supple. Great for dry, dehydrated, maturing skin, and dry or cold climates.

ODACITE Oleosomes Time Release Delivery Creme – This is a lightweight moisturizer that delivers all-day moisture. Suitable for all skin types and keep skin hydrated, soft and balanced.

INDIE LEE Daily Skin Nutrition mixed with a few drops of Squalane Facial Oil – The BEST moisturizing combo for dry sensitive skin. Both of these products are fragrance-free and essential oil-free, and when mixed together they are rich and nourishing. I also love using this combo when I’m using serums with strong actives, or when I am exercising and need a moisturizer that is gentle and free of fragrance and essential oils.

INDIE LEE Active Oil-Free Moisturizer – This is the best oil-free moisturizer I’ve ever tried. In fact, it’s just as nourishing as any moisturizer but minus the oils, making it especially good for oily, combination, acne prone and skin that is sensitive to oil. It’s hydrating, fast absorbing, skin softening and perfects the skin without being greasy, heavy or sticky.

Spot Treatments

VERDURA NATURALTERNATIVES Blue Fairy Concentrate Facial Oil – Formulated for acne and oily skin, this facial oil is one of the best natural acne treatments I’ve found. It helps shrink pimples fast and soothes red, irritated skin. You can use it as a spot treatment to treat pimples, or as a facial oil to balance and clarify oily skin.

INDIE LEE Banish Solution – I really like Indie Lee spot treatments, but my favourite out of the three is the Banish Solution. This stuff is strong and it works! It’s great for banishing stubborn pimples and closed comedones that just won’t budge. If you pick at pimples this is a great solution, because once you apply it, it dries down into pink clay-like coating on your pimples preventing you from picking or touching it. You have to leave it be so it does it’s magic overnight.

LIVING LIBATIONS DewDab and SoothSayer Serum – This duo works particularly well for fading acne scars, hyperpigmentation, and marks left behind from acne and breakouts. For best results, every night mix 1 drops of DewDab essential oil blend to a few drops of SoothSayer Serum, and apply to your face and neck. Over the course of a few weeks you should start seeing your skin tone even out, and marks and bumps fading.

You can also use DewDab on its own as a spot treatment (dab a tiny amount on pimples at night).

LIVING LIBATIONS Zippity DewDab is another essential oil blend formulated to speed up the healing of blemishes and stubborn pimples. It’s strong! I personally prefer the DewDab blend, but I know many people who like the Zippity DewDab better. It’s one of those things you need to try for yourself to see what works best for you.

LIVING LIBATIONS Tea Tree Essential Oil – Dab on pimples to speed up healing and reduce inflammation.

  • Demo & instructions how to use Tea Tree Oil for acne, click here.

Eye Creams & Lash Treatments

LIVING LIBATIONS All Seeing Eye Creme – If you have lines and wrinkles around your eyes and deep crow’s feet, you’ll like this. It’s a soothing and moisturizing eye cream that treats dryness and reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. I like to keep this eye cream in the fridge, so it’s nice and cool upon application. If you have puffiness around your eyes, you can pair it with Open Sky Eye Serum which helps reduce swelling and water retention around the eyes, and calms irritation (I suffer seasonal allergies and this serum really soothes my eyes). The Open Sky Eye Serum is oil-based, but extremely lightweight and fast absorbing, it can be used day and night.

UMA Absolute Anti-Aging Eye Oil – Want to wake up in the morning without puffy eyes? Use this eye oil at night! I’ve noticed a massive difference using this eye oil, not only waking up without eye puffiness, but also smoothing out fine lines and wrinkles around my eyes. UMA Absolute Anti-Aging Eye Oil is nourishing, so I only use it at night, and during the day I will use an eye cream which works better under makeup and concealer.

100% PURE Coffee Bean Caffeine Eye Cream – Great eye cream for reducing puffiness under the eye. It absorbs well and doesn’t have any oily residue, perfect as a day time eye cream and works well under makeup.

Castor Oil – Every night I like to dab a drop of castor oil over the “crow’s feet” / outer-eye wrinkles, usually on top of my eye cream to seal in moisture. I also like to apply castor oil on my eyebrows and eyelashes as an overnight treatment (helps to keep them strong and full). An easy way to apply castor oil to lashes & eyebrows is buy castor oil already in a tube with a mascara wand for mess-free application.

Facial Masks

VERDURA NATURALTERNATIVES Fruit Complex Facial Mask – Want silky smooth, hydrated skin? This mask is it. The colloidal oat and aloe based mask draws moisture to the skin while the fruit enzymes exfoliate surface buildup. Such a gentle, yet effective brightening, clarifying and smoothing mask. Great also for hyperpigmentation, melasma, fading old acne scars and marks, and giving the skin a youthful glow. One of my top favourites.

LIVING LIBATIONS Royal Rose Honey Mask – This is a deeply cleansing, exfoliating and brightening mask. I recommend this if you are prone to getting clogged pores, blackheads, or dull skin. This will slough off all the surface build up revealing bright soft clear skin.

INDIE LEE Clearing Mask – This is an outstanding clay mask. It deeply cleanses the skin and pores without being drying. It has salicylic and glycolic acid, yet it’s very soothing and gentle. This mask makes your skin soft, smooth, clear, and evens out skin tone beautifully. If you are prone to getting breakouts, pimples, blackheads, clogged pores or bumpy skin texture, try this!

VERDURA NATURALTERNATIVES Illuminati Facial Mask – If you have serious dry skin, or sensitized skin, this is an incredibly restorative and nourishing mask. The base of the mask is shea butter which is an outstanding ingredient to support a healthy skin barrier and get dry skin nourished and healthy again. This mask will bring life and suppleness back into dull, lined, texture, flaky, porous skin. It’s transformative. And if your skin is seriously dry and irritated (perhaps you’ve overdone it with exfoliating acids or retinol), I recommend using this mask a few times a week until your skin is back to health. You’ll see with every use, your skin will get better and better.

UMA Absolute Anti-Aging Face Mask – This is an all-in-one purifying, soothing, and brightening mask. Most anti-aging masks are usually quite heavy on the “nourishment,” meaning they’re quite moisturizing and not always compatible with sensitive or breakout-prone skin. I was happily surprised by this mask because it’s more of a refining mask combatting clogged and enlarged pores, softening fine line and wrinkles, and gently evens out skin tone. Your skin glows after using this mask.

MAY LINDSTROM The Problem Solver – I LOVE this mask. This mask will make your skin feel fresh and glowing. It cleanses, brightens and deeply clarifies your skin, and makes it baby soft. If you’re challenged by breakouts, pimples, blackheads, enlarged pores, or you just want your skin to look better – this mask is a must try. For added hydration, I like to add 1 tsp of smooth raw honey to this mask.

OSKIA Renaissance Mask – My ultimate favourite mask. This masks gently exfoliates, rejuvenates and hydrates your skin leaving it super smooth, supple, and bright. Suitable for all skin types, but I’d strongly recommend this mask to anyone that has dehydrated, dull, or lacklustre skin.

Washcloths / Flannels

GROVIA Cloth Wipes – The softest washcloths I have found. Great for the regular oil cleansing method using a damp washcloth.

BUMKINS Reusable Flannel Wipes – Soft, absorbable cotton flannels perfect for dry oil cleansing without water.

Lip Balms & Treatments

LIVING LIBATIONS RoseGlow Lover Lips – The Lover Lips lip balm range from Living Libations is amazing. Super nourishing without being sticky, heavy or waxy. The RoseGlow is my favourite, it has a slight red tint. The Vanilla Chamomile is without a tint, and just as good.

HURRAW! Tinted Black Cherry Lip Balm – I love the red tint of this lip balm, it’s subtle yet very complementary. I have a hard time not wearing it every single day!

Concealers & Foundation

SUNTEGRITY Impeccable Skin – This really does make your skin look flawless and impeccable (and so natural looking). Impeccable Skin is an all-in-one foundation and mineral sun protection (broad spectrum, SPF 30). The coverage is light to medium, it’s fragrance-free, oil-free and silicone-free, but it’s also very hydrating and skin softening. It’s suitable for all skin types, but especially good if you are prone to breakouts or acne, or have very sensitive skin. It has a satin skin-like finish, lightweight, and very easy to use. An all around winner!

ANNMARIE SKIN CARE Minerals Multi-Purpose Foundation – I absolutely love this makeup! It’s a pigmented makeup powder that you mix with your favourite facial oil, serum, or moisturizer to make a tinted moisturizer, foundation, or concealer. You have full control over the shade and coverage, and since you mix it with your oil or moisturizer, the chances of getting breakouts or having a reaction to the product is close to none. I recommend getting the Minerals Multi-Purpose Foundation Sample Kit first, because it comes with samples of all 9 shades so you can try the makeup and make sure you select the perfect shade to match your skin tone.

RMS BEAUTY “Un” Cover-Up – Great concealer for blemishes and disguising any redness or uneven skin tone. I love how emollient this concealer is, so it’s quite moisturizing which is good for concealing blemishes and pimples. You can use the “Un” Cover-Up as a concealer or foundation. It’s very pigmented, so a little goes a long way.

MILK MAKEUP Flex Concealer – This is not all natural, but the ingredients are not bad either. I love this concealer for the under eye area. This is the only concealer I’ve found so far that I don’t need to set with powder, it’s doesn’t crease or emphasize lines and wrinkles, and it’s quite long wearing. I highly recommend it.

Powders

ALIMA PURE Satin Finishing Powder – If you’re looking for a setting powder that has a natural skin-like finish, this is great. I find it undetectable on my skin and I can even use it as an under eye setting powder without it emphasizing texture or wrinkles. If you’re looking for a setting powder that still allows you to still have a glowy finish, this is perfect.

RMS BEAUTY Tinted “Un” Powder – This is my favourite powder for blurring pores and eliminating t-zone shine. If you’re looking for an air brushed finish, this is amazing. The “Un” Powder is extremely light weight, absorbs excess oil like a dream, and is buildable for a matte finish without looking cakey or powdery. I use this everywhere on my face except under my eyes. I prefer the Tinted “Un” Powder. The translucent “Un” Powder leaves a white/blueish cast on my skin.

Sun Protection

SUNTEGRITY 5 in 1 Natural Moisturizing Face Sunscreen SPF 30 (tinted) – This is the best all-natural mineral sunscreen I have found. It’s moisturizing (but not heavy or greasy), absorbs really well, non-comedogenic, and fully protects the skin. It comes in 4 shades, no white cast and blends into the skin beautifully. If you prefer a face sunscreen without a tint, Suntegrity has Natural Moisturizing Face Sunscreen & Primer SPF 30.

  • Full blog review, video demo, and swatches of both sunscreens, click here.

SUNTEGRITY Pressed Mineral Powder Compact SPF50 – This mineral sunscreen powder is the lightest and finest sunscreen powder I’ve ever used. Most are cakey and heavy, not this one. It’s translucent, blurs pores and imperfections, and has a soft, natural matte finish. This is good for touch-ups and sunscreen re-application throughout the day. The compact it comes in is sturdy, there’s a built-in mirror, the powder puff is soft and everything is refillable. A+ from me!
